Sorry for the lack of updates. It’s been a little nuts lately. This is my last week in the NoDa space. It’s almost emptied out now, (thanks Dad and Uncle Larry for the help!) Definitely a little depressing to be in the space now so I’m really glad it’s coming to a close. I’ve come to terms with closing the store and am excited in a strange way to simplify my life a little. Anyway..enough about me. On to what you are really on this blog for.. Wynnie! Below are some random photos over the last couple of weeks.
Pre-Bath!
Wynn in her new fancy Stokke high chair! This could be an ad in Dwell magazine! She loves her chair and loves eating as well, (obviously!)
Wynn and her bestest friend Killian Andrews.
The excersaucer is mucho fun.
This was a brutal cold day that Jenn and I had to get out of the house. Jenn put about 12 layers of clothing on Wynnie. She looked like Ralphie in The Christmas Story when he couldn’t move any of his limbs.
Wynnie’s first snow! I believe Charlotte’s first as well in 2 years?
Jennifer hosted Kristin’s baby shower at our house. I tried to get out as soon as possible but I was in charge of taking care of Wynn. As well as the go to guy for music, burning dvds, etc. etc. There was so much estrogen in the house it was scary. See pic below.
It’s crazy how fast a year seems to go by. I thought it was appropriate to do a small recap of our 2008 year. By looking at the last year of photos it’s amazing how fast 12 months go by, but also equally amazing the amount of changes. During this year we traveled to Costa Rica, Las Vegas NV, Atlanta GA, Debordieu SC, Ocean Isle NC, the Outer Banks NC, St. John U.S. Virgin Islands and the NC mountains 4 times! We opened a new store, (which also unfortunately will soon be closing.) We saw many new lifes enter our world; Josie Hoffman, Charlie Wallace, Killian Andrews, Lila Sharpe, Caleb Johnson and of course…Wynnie Olivia Webster! That’s just the start of baby world. It seems almost everyone we know at the moment will soon be having children of their own if they haven’t already. What an amazing and exciting year 2008 panned out to be. God willing 2009 will be just as magical and exciting! Please click the slideshow below to view the photo comments.
At my parents house we always do our opening of Christmas on the pool table. It’s convenient because it’s right beside where Mom sets up the tree. It also was a convenient place to lay Wynn! I don’t think anyone knew Jenn was taping, so the bickering between my parents over the amount of Carharts Dad has is classic!
Ok, I know I’ve been a little slack with this one! We had an incredible holiday season. It’s always nice getting a little break from the constant grind of the stores and spending time with family. This was also a special Christmas because it was Wynnie’s first! I don’t think she quite knew what to do with all of the attention and toys that were thrust upon her! Having Wynnie around family was like playing hot potato! One person could only hold her for about 2 minutes and then someone else wanted to love on her! Wynnie also got to meet her Great Grandmother Webster for the first time. That was a very memorable experience. Wynnie won’t remember but I have to believe Grandma Webster appreciated meeting her.
