Thanksgiving!

We had a great time spending Thanksgiving in Kings Mountain with our respective families. The older I get the more I truly value time with family. Life just gets busier and busier and your time seems to get stretched thinner by the day. Lately the extent I get to see mom and dad is before Jenn and I hit the door running for our date nights when they come over to babysit! So, 2 solid days was great. I also love Jenn’s family. They are some of the nicest and easiest people to be around. Also, Teresa’s Thanksgiving lunch is one of legendary proportions! Lastly, Friday we made the trip up the the mountains, (with every other yuppie as my parents cited, to get our tree!) Crystal was here from Raleigh and made the trip with us. It was a great time but SUPER crowded.

Wynnie’s new trick!

We were starting to worry she was never going to roll.  Wynnie is just too laid back.  Lay her on her back and she’s pretty content!  Her rolls are definitely in slow motion but she’s starting to do them consistently.  Hmmm… now how to I get back over?

First attempt at rice cereal

Wynnie had her first experience eating solid food with her pal, Josie. I’m not sure they are committed yet but it was definitely fun for mom!

Jenn and Alison out at the Niche 3 yr anniversary party, we’ve certainly missed our cocktails!

Damn Liberals!

I don’t want to get all political on the blog, but this is great.  Why is Wynnie so happy?  I think her choice of shirt speaks for itself!   January 20th can’t come fast enough!

This is probably only interesting to Jenn, myself and grandparents but I thought it was funny!

Beech Mtn. Trip!

For Halloween weekend some of the the KM gang headed to a tucked away cabin in the middle of nowhere. We say it was in Beech Mtn but really we are not too sure where we were. All I know is the place was serene! The weekend was spent in company with some of our closest friends enjoying nature, good food and each others company.  Wynnie got to spend an entire weekend with her buddy, Kilian. They had the best of times as you can see. I hope we will have many more trips like this one together.

Wynnie likes to talk!

Jenn went to Belmont the other day to visit Kristin.  Kristin took this funny clip of Wynnie. This is her new way of conversing! Thanks Kristin!  I couldn’t figure out how to embed it in the blog, but you can check it out here…
