A few pics..

Hello all!  Jenn spoke for the both of us below about the sleeping!  It’s so great to get that full nights sleep!  I’m not going to duplicate everything she said, but yes life has been great.  We had a great night away in the mountains and our favorite time of the year is upon us, fall!  Wynnie has become so much fun and more interactive, (well as interactive as a 3month old can be!)  She now almost smiles every time you give her a smille.  It’s amazing how such a simple little action can make you feel. Here’s a few pictures from the last couple of weeks.

Smile for the camera!

Jenn and Holly with Wynnie and Killian!

Grandpa Webster babysitting while Jenn and I get a much needed date night to Press uptown.

I’m starting to dig this play mat thing.

Our friend Shep is home from Australia!  Wynnie is rocking the Koala bear outfit he got her.   I think she likes it, what do you think?

Look mom..no hands.

3 months

Today Wynnie is 3 months old.  The family is rested this morning because we all had 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep.  This is her 2nd time sleeping through the night.  As you can imagine, Bobby and I are thrilled that our sleeping patterns are returning back to normal.  Our day is off to a joyful start.  After breakfast, Bob got Wynn ready for the day while enjoying every single smile and coo he could get out of her. We then headed out for a run which is typical these days as I try to slim into my jeans for Fall. We are now sitting on the porch enjoying the cool temperature of the first day of Autumn and reflecting on the amazing week just passed.

Shepherd is home from Australia so our closest friends visited with him over dinner and drinks at the house last Tuesday. It was so great to see him and hear all about his adventurous life down under. I can’t believe its been over a year since our farewell party and now he is back for his very first visit. We’ve really missed him and are happy to have spent time with him.

We also left Wynn with Grandma Debbie for the very first night away. This was for a very special occasion as we celebrated in the union of Ben and Raven Watt in the High Country. Raven was a stunning bride and Ben seemed like the happiest man alive. We are thrilled for them and wish them all the best life has to offer.

Finally my heart swells for dear Lindsay Pope and Jay Doyer. We learned Saturday night that Jay proposed in the mountains. It was such a coincidence to run into them at Meadowbrook Inn. The ring is BEAUTIFUL and Lindsay was glowing!! Congratulations and we can’t wait to partake in the events over the year to come.

I will end here with a big Happy Birthday to Wynnie and thanks to God for so many blessings.

Wynnie Photoshoot 6 weeks.

A couple of weeks ago Jenn posted about Wynnie’s first photo shoot.  Well, we received the DVD with all the images and I posted them to Picasa!  If anyone wants to order them you can go here.  Also, with Picasa you can choose a couple different places to print your photos.  Last time we used Snapfish with a matte finish and the white borders.  They turned out very nice.   Also, I just wanted to comment on our OBX trip.  For those of you out there that get stressed at times I highly recommend the Outer Banks, or anywhere outside of your city for that matter.  I’ve been very stressed lately dealing with the businesses and all of the events surrounding them.  It’s amazing what getting away will do for your mental well-being.  I slept better than I have in a long time and actually didn’t stress much about business, (although I did have my laptop!)  The best part about the whole trip was getting to hang with Jenn and Wynnie all day every day.  I would let Jenn go to the beach every morning while I baby-sat.  It was during this time that I got the first true smiles from Wynnie.  Yeah, I’ve seen the “I just passed gas smile,” but this was different.  It was a true reaction to me smiling and acting like a fool for about 30 minutes!  Anyway, it was an incredible trip and I can’t wait to return God willing next Labor Day!

Labor Day at the OBX

We originally thought we weren’t going to make our annual trip to the OBX since Wynn was only supposed to be 4 weeks old BUT due to her early arrival we were able to make it to our favorite vacation spot in company with Ben, Kristin and Zion. It is amazing how great Wynn did during the car ride – we only had to stop twice for feedings and then she was back to her beauty sleep. She also slept better than ever, 6 hours one night and 7 another! The trip was a much needed escape from all the Niche responsibilities and for mom to venture away from the Webster compound. We were just steps from the beach and we had a hot tub to relax in after long days doing a whole bunch of nothing. I can’t think of a better way to spend the week – with good friends, in the sunshine and with our baby girl! We are so fortunate to be able to take vacations as often as we do!

Wynnie’s first beach sunset and she’s actually awake to see it!

Ben fishing…he’s doing exactly what he’s been looking forward to all summer!

Ruth gets pummeled wave after wave but she is loving it! This was Ruth’s first trip to the beach and we were amazed at how much she liked the ocean since she really is not a big swimmer!

Family shot, minus Asya who is back home at Doggie Playland.

Kristin and Jenn, relaxing on the top deck after a much needed retreat to Spa Koru where we rewarded ourselves with a facial and massage!

Wynn and Bobby spent a ton of time in the porch swing – a calm and warm environment to prepare for nap time!

Trying to capture one of the many smiles Wynn gave us! She’s really coming alive now!
